About Me

Hi, I’m Aidah Al Baqir—a Full Stack Software Developer with a deep passion for harnessing the power of technology to unite people, celebrate diversity, and drive innovation toward a more sustainable future. With a background in law from the University of California, Irvine, and advanced training in full-stack development from FlatIron School, my journey has always been about finding creative solutions to complex challenges, both technical and societal.

In my current role as a Software Engineer at HCL Tech, I’m not just focused on building software—I’m dedicated to crafting digital experiences that bring people together. Whether it's through designing an app that amplifies positive voices on social media or engineering scalable systems that ensure equal access to information, I believe technology is a bridge. It’s a way to connect people across cultures, industries, and even ideologies.

I’m passionate about the intersection of tech, news, politics, and global communications because I believe that in a world as diverse as ours, innovation thrives when we embrace our differences. I envision a future where technology isn't just a tool but a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and the kind of unity that fuels progress. It’s about creating systems that are sustainable—not just environmentally, but socially and economically, too—where everyone has a seat at the table and a voice in shaping the future.

Grounded in my work is a belief in progress, fueled by a commitment to leave the world better than we found it. From coding solutions that drive real-world change to building platforms that foster global communication, I approach every project with a holistic mindset—one that values creativity, inclusivity, and long-term impact.

At the end of the day, I’m not just building for the present—I’m building for a future that we can all be proud of. And I’d love to collaborate with those who share this vision.
